Supreme Head of the Drikung Kagyu Lineage
Under the guidance of our root guru, every step we take becomes an offering of compassion and a journey towards greater good.
Every path that this organisation walks today traces back to the guidance, blessings, and unwavering compassion of our root guru. It was under his teaching that the founder first understood the meaning of service rooted in wisdom, and not in mere intention.
For decades, he has dedicated his life to the preservation of sacred teachings, the training of monastics, and the upliftment of communities across the Himalayan region. His guidance continues to be the quiet foundation behind every program this organisation carries forward.
We hold this section as a small gesture of gratitude, for a guidance that cannot truly be repaid, only honoured through continued action.
In eternal gratitude, on behalf of the entire organisation.

Our Leadership
Every program, every classroom, every meal served — traces back to one decision, made in a single room with no electricity. This is where it began.
The Person Behind The Mission
Founder & Executive Director — Ratna Shri Foundation Nepal
Change doesn't begin in a boardroom. It begins the day you decide one child's future is worth more than your comfort.
In 2024, for the first time in history, His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche, was formally invited to Dolpo. On this occasion, arrangements were also made for more than 500 monks and nuns from Jangchub Ling, the principal seat of the Drikung Kagyu tradition in exile, to undertake a pilgrimage to the Eight Great Sacred Places of Lord Buddha. The pilgrimage was led by His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon himself, allowing the sangha to pay homage and make offerings at the holy sites associated with the life and enlightenment of the perfectly awakened Buddha, Bhagavan Shakyamuni.
